We won’t be offended. The carpet weight you choose depends on what you’ll use it for.
The face weight of carpet is the amount of carpet pile per square yard. So, our 30 oz. carpet has 30 ounces of carpet pile in each square yard.
How to choose:
- 28 oz. and 30 oz. carpet are the most versatile and best suited for most exhibits. They’re perfect for inlays.
- Use 13–16 oz. carpet for aisles. It’s the right choice for covering all of that bare concrete on the show floor.
- The plushest carpet we offer is 50 oz. Only a small percentage of exhibitors request that weight.
The type of carpet you choose—nylon or PET—depends on the color you need and your budget. Nylon carpet can be custom-dyed to match your clients’ PMS colors. PET is dyed when it’s produced. PET is made of recycled materials and can be a little more affordable.
