Why Carpet Recycling Matters to Us

Instead of having to store your customer’s carpet and padding after a show, we make it easy for you to recycle it into plastic automobile parts, sound barriers for highways, padding for equestrian stables and many other products.

Your customers will love that 92% to 100% of their carpet and padding will be recycled, and you’ll both know that you’re keeping carpet and padding out of a landfill.

 

Here are the steps to take on show site:

1. Prepare the carpet or rollable vinyl by making sure there’s NO carpet tape on the back. Please remove any trash that’s on the flooring, roll it up without the core and place it on the skid it arrived on.
2. Schedule your pickup from show site to deliver to one of the convenient recycling locations listed below. Make sure that your shipper gives the recycling facility at least 48 hours’ notice before delivery.

*Make sure that your shipper gives Georgia Carpet Recovery Center at least 48 hours’ notice before delivery and email a photo of your bill of lading and label to dsterne@theinsidetrackinc.com. We’ll invoice you for the recycling charge of $175 per skid of carpet and pad after the delivery.

To recycle your carpet and padding after your Chicago, Indianapolis, and other Midwest shows, just send it to Kruse Carpet Recycling in Indianapolis, Indiana.
